Today was a day that tempted my endurance, my ability to resist temptation, like any other.
Okay, maybe I’m exaggerating a tad, but let me explain.
This morning I decided to use my phone to check my e-mail as I waited for my mom to wrap up the physical therapy appointment to which I had taken her. Upon logging in, I was greeted with a message from Anthropologie that seemed too incredible to be true: 200+ beautiful items had been marked down on their website.
It was a dangerous situation: I had 45 minutes to kill in a dank waiting room, an iPhone in hand, and a reasonably strong WiFi connection, all of which could have easily assisted me in spending too much money on markdowns.
Being that I have a few items in my closet that are still tagged after indulging in the last Anthro sale, I knew it would be irresponsible of me to make even one purchase. Instead, I decided to find ten items to drool over and share them with you rather than click the tempting “Submit Order” button. It was certainly the best order of action for my wallet and peace of mind, as well as a great opportunity to share some steals with those of you who have the closet space and the funds to take part in this sale.
While I love all ten of the items I’ve linked below, my personal favorite is the green dress with the gorgeous Y-neckline from Girls from Savoy. Despite my slight obsession with the store, my frugal nature has prevented me from ever allowing myself to purchase a garment at full price from Anthropologie. However, when I saw that lovely emerald gem in the store, I came about thisclose to shelling over almost $200 for one dress. Thank goodness my senses came to me before I could slide my credit card.
I apologize for making it this easy to overspend, but all you have to do is click on each item pictured to be redirected to its product description page on the Anthropologie site.
Which of these gorgeous finds is your personal favorite? I would love to read your thoughts below!
